it's back to school!

today is back to school day for my kids. my day started at 6:20a.m. it was supposed to start at 6:00, but i just kept letting the alarm ring, until it annoyed the heck out of me. i woke up my kids, they woke up immediatley. when i saw that my son was the first to get out of bed, i thought, well it looks like i'm not going to have a problem with him staying at school. so he was the first to get dressed, of coursed, because it takes my girls longer, since they have to brush their hair and fix themselves up and all that. so once they were all ready i went to drop them off. i dropped off my son first. i noticed on the way in the school the look on my son's face. so i asked him what was wrong. he said that he didn't want to go in the school by himself. and i told him that i was taking him inside all the way to his class. so i met his teacher, her name is mrs. stanaland. she seemed very nice. i told my son before i left that some of his friends from last year were going to be in the same class with him. so that made him feel a little better once he saw that they were there. after i dropped off my son i dropped off my girls. they both are going to the same school. my 9yr old had already predicted during the summer that she was going to cry...so i was waiting for the waterworks, but to my surprise, there was no tears rolling down her beautiful face. so after i met my girls' teachers i left. they both seemed nice also. i think my girls are going to have fun...especially the 9 yr old. my 11yr old is repeating the 5th grade so she pretty much knows the school. oh and her teacher was her summer school teacher. i don't know if that's a good thing though.

on my way home my 3yr old says,"mommy, where is daddy?" i told her he was at work. then she said," so i can go to sleep with you now?" i said,"yes mommy, you can be with me." then she said,"i'm hungry, take me to mcdonalds." i told her to wait til tomorrow, payday :-) she wasn't too happy with my answer, but she got over it. i think she remembered that last year when her siblings were at school, i would buy breakfast for me and her at least twice a week. so that's why she wanted mcd's today :-)

well i hope my kids' day goes well. i'll be bloggin' again tonight or tomorrow for the update on their day.
